The Australia New Zealand Leadership Forum (ANZLF) was proud to convene its second Emerging Leaders Retreat last week in Wellington, New Zealand.
Hosted by Australia's High Commissioner to New Zealand, Daniel Sloper PSM, the 2024/25 cohort enjoyed two days of insightful dialogue with more than 20 speakers from business, government and academia providing a contemporary perspective on the future of the Trans-Tasman relationship. Our Emerging Leaders were privileged to meet the Prime Minister of New Zealand, Rt Hon Christopher Luxon and engage with Ministers the Hon Todd McClay, the Hon Simon Watts and the Hon Chris Penk.
Discussion topics included trade, investment, the changing geopolitical landscape and opportunities for greater cooperation on climate change and energy, defence, the Pacific and emerging technologies.
